[4/4]¿Qué le dirías a las personas que no están de acuerdo con la tauromaquia?

“Que tomen contacto. Que yo soy una persona, y no un monstruo. Que esto es una tela, y que esto no es un engaño ni tiene cosas diferentes. Que uno no puede hablar de lo que no conoce, y que evidentemente si a mí me dicen que algo es muy malo, pues me parece muy malo y no me le acerco. Pero si uno se toma el tiempo de pensar, puede darse cuenta de que las cosas pueden parecer malas para otros y no para mí. Que nosotros tenemos un respeto impresionante por el toro. Que si me preguntaran qué animal quisiera ser diría sin pensarlo que un toro bravo. Que es el único animal destinado a morir que tiene la capacidad de salvarse. Un pollo crece y lo matan ahí mismo para carne. Lo mismo las vacas. En cambio un toro, si triunfa, puede volver a su tierra a ser semental”.

What would you say to people that do not agree with bullfighting?

“I’d tell them to try and establish some contact. That I am a person and not a monster. That this is a fabric, and not a scam with different things. That you can’t talk about what you don’t know, and that evidently, if they tell me that something is bad, I will think just that and never get close. But if you take the time to think, you may realize that things could be bad for others while good for you. That we have a great respect for the bull. That if they ask me what animal I’d like to be I wouldn’t think twice before saying I’d be a bull. That it’s the only animal destined to die that has the chance to save itself. A chicken grows and it’s killed regardless for meat. Same thing with cows. Instead, if a bull succeeds, it can go back to its land to become a sire.”
