A través del proyecto de acuerdo 002 radicado por el alcalde Federico Gutierrez, fueron modificados los artículos del decreto 883 que habían creado las 6 vicealcaldías durante la pasada administración municipal.

Otros cambios importantes:
- Conceder a la Secretaría de Gobierno la coordinación y articulación del gabinete municipal
- La Gerencia del Centro y de los Corregimientos dependen directamente del Alcalde.
- Secretaría de Inclusión Social y Familia que actualmente es direccionada por Luis Bernardo Vélez, se trasladará el tema de los derechos humanos y se denominará en adelante como Secretaría de Inclusión Social, Familia y Derechos Humanos
Este proyecto radicado por el burgomaestre fue examinado por la Comisión Tercera del Concejo y posteriormente pasó plenaria en el concejo de Medellín el día de hoy, 13 de febrero del 2016.
Es aprobado el Proyecto de Acuerdo 02 de 2016 por unanimidad de los 19 concejales presentes en #SesiónPlenariaCM. Se levanta la sesión.
